Finish your education degree by gaining teaching experience in the Florida Keys.
Grant awards: $5,000

Congratulations on almost being done with your education degree! All that is left is to gain teaching experience and we would like to encourage you to do that in paradise. Move to the Florida Keys to get your in-classroom teaching experience and we will pay you $5,000 to be used as you please.
But it gets better…
Get your degree and accept a job in the Monroe County School District and you will automatically be accepted into our Teaching Fellowship, which will pay you an additional $30,000 over your first 3 years of teaching in the Florida Keys.

Purpose:  To enable Black new-to-county students to obtain teaching experience as part of their curriculum leading to a Bachelor’s degree. 

Grant awards:  Up to $5,000 per year.    

Must teach in Monroe County, Florida.
