The Florida Keys is already an attractive place to live and work but we are sweetening the deal. $30,000 over 3 years to do with what you please; down payment on a house, buy a boat, invest in your future. The only motives we have are to find Black educators excited about building a life in the Florida Keys.
Purpose: To attract Black new-to-county teachers.
Grant awards:
$15,000 for year one
$10,000 for year two
$5,000 for year three.
No need to apply! Candidates must have accepted a teaching position in a Monroe County school.
Current Recipients getting their checks on the first day of school.
