Ms. Rudy received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Languages and Education respectively. She is a second-generation educator with a career that spans over 20 years. She emphasizes the importance of reading because it relates to all other aspects in social and academic life.
When Ms. Rudy is not teaching, she likes to participate in activities that feed her artistic side. She enjoys writing songs and poems, and playing the piano. Her favorite piece to practice is Beethoven’s Fur Elise. She also likes to attend concerts of all types. Ms. Rudy believes music has transformative power and can enhance positive global changes.
She is looking forward to a successful year at Sigsbee Charter School and recognizes a compelling need for the Black Educator Initiative within Monroe County.
